Star of the Week

What is the Award?

The award is presented to children who have shown improvement or produced fantastic work throughout the week. Class teachers will nominate individual children who they feel have ‘shone’ throughout the week and showcased our RESPECT Values in action.

The staff, in the whole school celebratory assembly on Friday afternoon’s, present the ‘stars’ with a personalised certificate. Parents are informed of their child’s award via our weekly newsletter and by Text 2 Parents.

Aim

The aim of the award is to celebrate the children’s hard work, achievements and individuality, in a positive way. We want to encourage children to take ownership for their learning and their behaviours and take great pride in their successes.

Who is the Award for?

The award is for all children in Nursery to Year 6.
