A very warm welcome from your PTFA
Welcome to Cheadle Primary School PTFA
The Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) is a group of parents, carers, staff, and members of the wider community who work together to support Cheadle Primary School and enhance the experience of all students.
Our aim is to bring the school community together through events, fundraising, and shared initiatives that enrich school life. Whether it’s organising social events, supporting key projects, or creating opportunities for students, everything we do is focused on making a positive difference.
We believe that a strong partnership between school and home is vital. By working together, we can create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment where students feel proud of their school and inspired to succeed.
Cheadle Primary School PTFA
Our Vision and Ethos
At Cheadle Primary School PTFA, our vision is to work in partnership with the school to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive community where every child can thrive and feel proud of their school.
Our work is underpinned by the school’s core values of Aspire, Believe, Achieve, alongside the expectations of being Ready, Respectful and Safe. We also reflect and promote the key RESPECT values of Resilience, Empathy, Self-awareness, Positivity, Excellence, Communication, and Teamwork in everything we do.
As a PTFA, we are one team. We believe that by working together - parents, carers, staff, students, and the wider community - we can make a meaningful difference to school life.
We are committed to:
Creating a positive and engaging experience for all children and families through events and community involvement
Raising funds to provide additional experiences, resources, and gifts that bring enjoyment and opportunity to our pupils
Encouraging strong communication and engagement between school, families, and the wider community
Supporting a culture of kindness, understanding, and empathy, where everyone feels valued and included
Demonstrating resilience and dedication in all that we do, continuing to grow and improve for the benefit of our school
We strive for excellence in everything we do, always aiming to provide the very best for our children. Through positivity, teamwork, and a shared vision, we hope to create lasting memories, enrich school life, and support every child to feel confident, supported, and inspired.
Together, we Aspire, Believe, and Achieve.
Welcome from the PTFA Chair
My name is Charlotte, and I am proud to be the Chair of the PTFA at Cheadle Primary School.
I am passionate about our community and the sense of togetherness it creates, and I am committed to building on that community spirit through the work of the PTFA. I am equally passionate about our school and dedicated to creating the best possible opportunities for all of our students. I believe the PTFA is a positive and engaging way to bring together parents, carers, staff, and the wider community, working in partnership to support and enrich the experiences of every child.
I also strongly believe in the school’s vision and values of Aspire, Believe, Achieve, and through the work of the PTFA, we aim to reflect these values by creating opportunities, building confidence, and helping every child feel proud of their achievements.
Our aim is to open up opportunities for enrichment, support the school and its staff, and contribute to a strong, connected school community. This is very much a whole-school team effort - we all share the same goal of wanting the very best outcomes for our students and families.
As a working parent of four, I understand how busy life can be and how important it is that our children feel happy, supported, and proud of their school. That’s why the PTFA is designed to be flexible and inclusive. You do not need to commit to every meeting or event - whether you can offer your time, share ideas, donate prizes, or simply attend and support events, every contribution makes a difference and is truly appreciated.
I would also like to say a sincere thank you to our PTFA team, school staff, and all those who support us behind the scenes, as well as our wider community for their generous donations and ongoing support of Cheadle Primary School - your time, effort, and encouragement are invaluable and make everything we do possible.
It would be wonderful to see as many of you involved as possible, in whatever way suits you. If you would like to get involved or find out more, please keep an eye on school communications or contact us at: cheadleprimaryptfa@gmail.com
Together, we can create opportunities, strengthen our community, and enrich the experiences of all our students. By working in partnership, we can help every child feel proud of their school, confident in themselves, and ready to make a positive impact on the world around them.
Together, we can continue to Aspire, Believe, and Achieve, creating a positive and enriching experience for all our children.

The PTFA Committee
We are currently a small committee, but we are extremely enthusiastic and committed. The committee is filled by volunteers and we are continually looking for more volunteers, to enable us to continue to plan and hold events for our school community, that in turn raises vital funds to spend within our school community.
PTFA Meetings
We try to meet each term, to organise events and job lists, to discuss future events and to discuss where to spend the money raised, to benefit the children and school community. An Annual General Meeting (AGM) happens every Autumn Term.
How we raise money
The PTFA Committee works hard throughout the year to organise fund raising events, and activities for the school community. Events include the Christmas Fayre, Summer Fayre, discos, and chocolate bingo.
How we spend the money we raise
Once costs are covered all additional funds raised by our PTFA go towards improving our school facilities for our children, future events, and school trips.
We discuss this during our meetings.
