Cheadle Primary School - Snow Gritting Plan

In the event of icy and / or snowy weather, we aim to ensure that reasonable measures are taken to ensure that pupils, families and staff are able to arrive and navigate the school grounds safely.

As part of this, we are committed to ensuring that the areas marked on the gritting plan are kept gritted to ensure that they can be used safely.

In the event of any school closures due to adverse weather, information will be published via the school website and text to parents.

Nursery Outdoor Learning

This term the Nursery have had some wonderful adventures and shown excellent teamwork!

We have had great fun creating leaf catchers and exploring and creating shapes in the environment.

The children used natural materials to create 2D shapes independently including creating a class circle of children.

We observed the different shapes around the Memorial Garden including an octagon sundial that had circles, squares and rectangles and a square bird feeder filled with a circle ice in a square surrounding!

Christmas Wriggly Nativity

Cheadle Primary School celebrated Christmas this year with a Wriggly Nativity. All the children from Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 took part to retell the story of the first Christmas. The play was designed for children who can't sit still and much wriggling and dancing was done by all. The school held 2 packed out performances for families to enjoy.
