Science HOME LEARNINg
Dear parents, in this extended period of time at home, we thought the following websites may offer some useful ideas to bring science to life in a practical and fun way:
Dr Chips comes recommended from Stoke-Across-The-City. He is apparently at Manchester University and is school based as well as a consultant to national programmes. He is going to host on-line primary science lessons at 10am each day. These will be practical, and involve philosophical questions.
Explorify – lots of on-line activities to get your children thinking like scientists. You can filter by concept and age. Suitable for non-specialist science teachers.
