Head Boy and Head Girl

"We love being Head Boys and Head Girls of Cheadle Primary School. We are very proud of our school!"

Riley

Head Boy

Hi, My name is Riley and I wanted to be Head boy as I thought I would be a great ambassador that would help the school in many different ways.  I feel I am perfect for the job: I go above and beyond; I always demonstrate our RESPECT values and I am a great leader and role model to the younger children, who are still learning the CPS way. I will represent the school on all and any occasion. My favourite subject is maths and I'm really sporty.

Isla

Head Girl

My name is Isla and I am so honoured to have been awarded with Head Girl at Cheadle Primary School. I have lots of qualities that are perfect for this job: I am kind to everyone, no matter who they are; caring; enthusiastic and a great role model to others in the school family. I listen and communicate well with others making sure no-one is excluded. I love school because you can dream big and make friends with lots of different people from different backgrounds and cultures. It's a safe space where you can trust everyone and I'm so happy to be a student here. I am also a part of our school choir.

Harper

Deputy Head Girl

My name is Harper and I am 10. It was the best feeling when they read out my name to be Deputy Head Girl.  I am a great role and I love to help people. I am kind, trustworthy, resilient, empathetic, self-aware, positive and I always try my best.  I have excellent communication skills and I am a good team player.  I love to represent my school, particularly in the maths quiz and the gymnastic competition.  Outside of school, I am a keen dancer and I am a member of Emmi-Lou Dance Academy and the Staffordshire Youth Ballet.

Jack

Deputy Head Boy

Hi, My name is Jack and I am very fortunate to be part of the Head Boy and Girl team here at Cheadle Primary School.  I am so pleased to be taking on this role because I have always loved this school and I wanted to be part of making it an even better place than it already is. I feel I am perfect for this role: I have always been a helpful person, I am kind and caring towards others and I am willing to share my ideas with the school.  My favourite subjects are maths and English.

At Cheadle Primary School, our school is led by our Head Boys and Head Girls from Year 6 and a team of prefects, also from Year 6.

Head Boys and Head Girls are responsible for representing the school.  They also serve as a good role model for students, and share students' ideas with the school's Children’s Leadership Team. They may also be expected to lead fellow prefects and Deputy Head Boy and Girls in their duties.

The Head Boys and the Head Girls should share a passion and commitment for Cheadle Primary. They are the link between the students, staff and governors at CPS. They demonstrate positive behaviours and act as role models for all years. The Head Boys and Head Girls support the school at events (such as parents evening, helping out with productions or extra-curricular events. They contribute to the effective running of the school, as directed by any staff member.  The Head Boys and Head Girls help to take responsibility as role models for younger students and help to ensure that the school is a safe and secure place for all students.

The Head Boys and Head Girls must have the ability to work productively with others, whilst using their initiative to contribute to the positive ethos of the school.  They will need to be organised, responsible, enthusiastic, and a great ambassador for the school. They must maintain excellent behaviour, uniform, attendance and punctuality.

What does a Head boy, Head girl, Deputy Head boy and Deputy Head girl look like?
